“Read for the Blind” application is the world first innovation for everyone to create audio books for the blind, by reading books or short articles from magazines, newspapers or any interesting websites.
It is more simple and convenient, without any transport to record voices as in the past.
This application supports multiple readers to read in each chapter from the same book. One may read only one chapter. Several chapters will be compiled into one book. Completed audio books or articles will be converted and transferred to “General Knowledge Hotline” 1414 which is a free service for the blind to listen to audio books on the phone.
At present, creating the audio books is still limited in production and need to transport for voice recording at the physical studio. Therefore there was a shortage of audio books resources for all the blind population in Thailand.
Thus creating audio books for the blind through an application “Read for the Blind” is very important because it is a creation, huge source of information that enhances knowledge level and the abilities of the blind to develop their skills, increase opportunities for their own careers selections and living better.
“Read for the Blind” application is a property of Thai Blind Peoples Foundation, established in 1998.
It is a non-profit organization with the key objective to support blind people to be able to survive in the society.

It is written in the native language of Thailand. When you open this app it does not open a window to allow you to choose a language; even though it is described in the App Store in English. Unless you are in Thailand or know how to read its native language this app is useless.
คือเคยอ่านหนังสือจบไปเล่มนึงแล้วก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร แต่พอจะอ่านเล่มสอง เพิ่มหนังสือแล้ว แต่กลับไม่ขึ้นในfeed หาหนังสือไม่เจอ refreshก็แล้ว แต่ก็หาไม่เจอ ระบบค่อนข้างช้า เข้าไปเสิร์ชก็เจอบ้างไม่เจอบ้าง ตรงที่ให้กรอกข้อมูลเบอร์โทรก็กรอกได้แค่3 ตัว กดยืนยันก็ขึ้นว่าระบบยังไม่เปิดรับการยืนยันตัวตน... ก็โอเคพยายามจะเพิ่มหนังสือใหม่แต่ก็โหลดช้า ทั้ง 3g และ wifi
I could open the app but there was only blank page shown on the screen, I couldnt create any new books. Also, why dont you guys provide the contact of the developer? You guys just put Samsung website there, for what? Just advertisement?
Confess that I didnt start use this app yet but I feel thankful for who created this app..You have a golden heart...:) Very good app.!
No part of this app works with VoiceOver. How can an app called "Read for the Blind" not work even a little bit for blind people. This almost makes me think this is an attempt to scam money from whoever supported the development of this application.
